My role as a BG Artist on Rescue Bots season 1 and 2 was equal parts fun and challenging. The style of the show demanded a strong sense of shape design and understanding of lighting, while keeping things very clean and simple.
It came together so well in the end product with animation and comped FX and really pushes what can be achieved with a 2D show aimed at younger audiences.
